Key Cues
Do it well.
Stay tall through the torso.
Drive one knee upward with the opposite arm.
Keep the lifted foot active with the toes drawn upward.
Return the foot beneath the body and alternate rhythmically.
Common Mistakes

Leaning backward during the knee drive.
Reaching the foot too far forward.
Rushing before the skipping rhythm is established.
