The woman behind The Fit Edit
Hi, I’m Laura.
A mother of two. A woman who loves movement. The founder of The Fit Edit.
I live in the UAE, where training, family life and building The Fit Edit share the same calendar. I care about becoming stronger and staying well, and about finding ways to do that within a real, sometimes very full life.
A little more about me ↓My reason for creating The Fit Edit
“Our time matters. I want the things we do for our health to be worth that time.”
Why I started.
My professional background includes more than twelve years in medical device sales in cardiac surgery. That experience is part of my story; so are motherhood, my own training and the everyday work of looking after a family.
I created The Fit Edit because health information can be difficult to turn into something useful. A training plan sits in one place, nutrition advice in another, while sleep, stress and the changes women experience are often treated separately.
I wanted to bring those pieces together. Clear explanations, practical tools and a manageable next step: something you can use when you have limited time and plenty of other things to think about.
The Fit Edit is built around movement, nutrition, wellbeing and womanhood. My aim is to help you understand what deserves your attention now, and build habits you can return to as your life changes.
What you can expect
Useful information. An honest perspective.
Evidence in context
I draw on research and established guidance, with attention to what the evidence can and cannot tell us.
Practical enough to use
The books, Journal and resources turn broad ideas into tools, routines and decisions that fit everyday life.
Clear about my role
I write as the founder and author of The Fit Edit. My medical device background is not a clinical qualification. Educational resources support informed choices and conversations with qualified professionals.
